The Editorial Office of Petroleum Geology and Recovery Efficiency hereby makes the following regulations on the withdrawal of submission by Authors and retraction by the editorial office as the case may be:
Section 1 Withdrawal by Authors
1.After submission, if authorsdemand withdrawal out of personal reasons through the online system, they shall make an explanation to the editorial office.
2.Authors who demand withdrawal after the manuscript is reviewed and accepted must fill out and provide the Withdrawal Application Form.
3.Authors who demand withdrawal due to their own reasons after the manuscript has been delivered to editing and typesetting shall compensate the editorial office for the expenses incurred in review, editing and typesetting in addition to providing the Withdrawal Application Form.
4.In case the author has withdrawn submission due to his/her own reasons for two or more times, the editorial office will refuse to accept the manuscripts in which he/she is named as the first author or corresponding author within a year.
Section 2 Retraction by the Editorial Office
1.In case the editorial office finds that an accepted manuscript involves academic misconduct, it will communicate with the authors and submit relevant materials to the editorial board to make a decision on retraction.
2.If the manuscript has not been published officially, the editorial office will retract it and fill out the Notes for Retraction.
3.If the manuscript has been published officially, the editorial office will publish a retract announcement on the website of Petroleum Geology and Recovery Efficiency and the in the latest issue of the print journal, and send the retract announcement to indexing databases to retract all data and information of the paper in question.
