        According to the provisions of the Copyright Law of the People’s Republic of China and other relevant regulations, after receiving the acceptance notification email from the editorial office, authors are requested to download three attachments from the Download Center, including the Copyright Transfer Agreement, Statement of Authors Contribution Form and Statement of Competing Interest Form of Petroleum Geology and Recovery Efficiency, and send the original or scanned copy of the original back to the editorial office of Petroleum Geology and Recovery Efficiency after completing the related procedures, including but not limited to the following rights of part or whole of the article: the right of compilation, distribution, reproduction, translation; the right of licensing domestic and foreign retrieval systems, network, and database to index and include the article; the right to publish and make use of the article through various media, format, and languages; the right to make use of the article in a manner that does not violate current or future laws and regulations of the People’s Republic China. 

   In order to promote the influence of articles, the journal will provide abstracts or full-text to relevant databases and online retrieval systems. The authors’ remuneration is paid one-off including the copyright transfer fee. Authors who disagree with the above-mentioned agreement should make a statement during submission.

 

Open Access Policy:

             Petroleum Geology and Recovery Efficiency flipped to an open access journal in 2022.Once published, all articles will be immediately and permanently available for readers to read and download free of charge. Permitted third party reuse of the articles published by the journal is defined by the following user license: Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This license allows reusers to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format. The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as the license terms below are followed: reusers must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. Reusers may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses the use. Reusers may not use the material for commercial purposes. If reusers remix, transform, or build upon the material, they may not distribute the modified material. The authors have the right to spread or make use of the article under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License. Archive:

          All journal articles since 2013 can be downloaded from this website free of charge. These articles are open access with user’s rights defined by CC By-NC-ND 4.0 License. Open access to literature will not be implemented until 2013. The full text of articles published in this journal can also be downloaded from Wanfang Data, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Weipu and EBSCO. In case the journal and the website were closed, archiving data could be retrieved through those full-text databases. Authors have right to upload the article to theauthor's webpage, and to post or update the article on an e-print (publication) server.

 

 

Data Sharing:

          The authors are encouraged to publish or share their research data whenever appropriate. Data sharing is helpful for experiment repeating and data reuse. The data for sharing may include original data, observation records, experimental results, etc. The journal also encourages the sharing of software, code, models, algorithms, protocols, methods and other useful materials. The authors can upload the materials above to an accessible third-party repository and make a proper citation or add a link at the end of the article.
